Welsh mini-budget passes after Plaid and Labour reach deal on additional learning needs
The Senedd backed the spending plans by 54 votes to 39, nearly four months after the original budget was defeated
The Senedd has passed the Welsh government's mini-budget nearly four months after the original version was defeated, after Labour voted for the spending plans following a deal with Plaid Cymru. Under the agreement, announced last month, an extra £60m will go to supporting children with additional learning needs (ALN). By backing the extra spending on Tuesday evening, Labour gave the minority Plaid government the numbers it needed.
