CVE-2026-20043
Out-of-bounds write flaws in Snort 3 affect Cisco Cyber Vision
An out-of-bounds write occurs when software writes data outside the memory set aside for it. Cisco Cyber Vision is affected because of multiple such vulnerabilities in its bundled Snort 3 software. Cisco published an October 2026 software hardening release to address them, and the issue is not on CISA's known-exploited list.
