Apple TV has released the trailer for the second season of Bad Monkey, the comedy series starring Vince Vaughn from the co-creator of Ted Lasso and Shrinking, with the premiere set for December 2.
The show, co-created by Bill Lawrence, returns with its second season on December 2, debuting one episode followed by weekly releases through February 3.
According to Apple's official summary, after Andrew Yancy (Vaughn) witnesses the murder of Florida's finest fixer, an ambitious state attorney pairs him with a strait-laced forensic accountant to solve the crime. Yancy becomes involved in a turf war between rival criminal organisations and encounters a variety of Florida oddballs, including an erudite mob boss, his unhinged son and a hard-edged young woman who needs Yancy's protection. He also deals with his aging father, unresolved romantic tension with Dr. Rosa Campesino (Natalie Martinez), who investigates a mysterious rash, and a bombastic animal relocation specialist whose business threatens the local environment.
Joining returning cast members is John Malkovich, who plays a Miami mob boss that Vaughn's Yancy faces off against. The first season of Bad Monkey is available to stream on Apple TV.
