The number of families seeking help to afford Christmas presents in Jersey is rising, according to the organiser of a voluntary gift collection and distribution drive. Charlotte Riley, who runs the Christmas Kindness Appeal Jersey through Facebook, said she is seeing more requests each year since starting the appeal in 2024.
