Revolution Wind becomes first large-scale US offshore wind farm to reach full power

The Revolution Wind project off the coast of Rhode Island and Massachusetts has become the first large-scale offshore wind farm to reach full power in the United States. The 65-turbine facility can generate 704 megawatts, enough to power an estimated 350,000 homes.

Clean energy stocks surge after Democratic sweep, but reaction may overstate policy change

Clean energy stocks jumped after Tuesday's Democratic sweep, with solar companies First Solar and SunRun both rising around 8% and wind companies Orsted and Vestas also rallying, according to Semafor. Oil majors Chevron and ExxonMobil fell on the prospect of lower oil prices if Democrats push for a quicker end to the war in Iran. However, TD Cowen's John Miller told Semafor that initial market reactions may overstate how much will change under a split government.
