Apple has introduced four new power accessories for the Mac alongside the MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR, according to 9to5Mac: updated 70W and 140W power adapters, a power extension cable and a World Travel Adapter Kit.
The new 70W Power Adapter is priced at $59 and the 140W Power Adapter at $99. Both replace the previous models, and the main change reported is compatibility with AC Connector 2 accessories. Apple now includes the updated adapters with select MacBook Pro models.
The Power Adapter Extension Cable (AC Connector 2) costs $19, and the World Travel Adapter Kit costs $39. The travel kit marks a return for a product Apple previously discontinued after the older kit became incompatible with newer power adapters.
The latest kit includes five interchangeable AC plugs: Type A for North America and Japan, Type C for continental Europe and Brazil, Type D for India, Type G for the UK, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Singapore, and Type I for Australia and New Zealand.
All four accessories are available now and ship immediately.

Why This Matters
Buyers of the new MacBook Pro can now match it with updated charging hardware, including higher-powered adapters.
The return of the World Travel Adapter Kit gives international travellers a charging option that had been unavailable after the previous version was discontinued.
The move to AC Connector 2 suggests Apple is standardising future adapter and cable accessories around a single connector.
Background
Apple regularly updates its power accessories as notebook charging technology changes. It sells adapters separately and includes them with some Mac models, and older accessory kits can stop working when Apple moves to a new connector standard, as happened with the previous travel kit. The new accessories arrive as part of the same product launch as the MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR.
