The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are now available for preorder ahead of their September 18 release. Apple announced the devices on Wednesday alongside the iPhone Duo foldable and other new products.
The 6.3-inch iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199 for the 256GB model, with higher storage capacities available. Both the Pro and Pro Max models are powered by the A20 Pro chip, which includes more GPU cores and additional neural cores dedicated to AI-related tasks.
Among the marquee upgrades is a variable aperture camera system, which allows users to adjust the amount of light entering the lens. Apple has also reduced the size of the Dynamic Island, the pill-shaped cutout introduced with the iPhone 14 Pro series. The phones come in four new color options.
Preorders are available directly from Apple as well as from third-party retailers such as Walmart. Customers who preorder can secure their preferred color and storage configuration ahead of the September 18 in-store and shipping launch.
