Engineers from Amazon Web Services (AWS) have outlined the team's process for handling Linux kernel Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), using an automated filter, an AI agent and human review, during a talk at the Linux Plumbers Conference in Prague. A group of Elvis Presley rightsholders have filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against AI company Anthropic, alleging it used the musician's songs to train its models without permission. Filed last Friday in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California, the complaint seeks damages worth $41.1 million, or $150,000 per work.
Simile, an AI startup building models that simulate consumer behavior, has raised $300 million at a $2 billion valuation, CEO Joon Sung Park said on the Sourcery podcast.
