Australia urged to legalise plug-in solar panels after UK launch, with potential savings of $370 a year
An advocacy group is calling on the Australian government to legalise plug-in solar panels, saying millions of households could save up to $370 a year on energy bills if the technology were allowed, as it now is in the United Kingdom. The push comes just days after plug-in balcony solar panels went on sale in the UK for the first time, stocked by major retailers including Argos.
